Here is my newest work. This time, it is not related to guitars. I really love to create music within the digital domain using synths, plugins and other things. Most guitarists and other instrumentalists think that it’s just an easy thing to do. But when you think about the level of electronic music producers, you’ll understand that it’s very tough to achieve.
I recently discovered a great piece by “Duna Ma Yelema” by Boubacar Traoré & Ali Farka Touré on YouTube and from that day I wanted to create some electronic stuff using some samples from the tune. However, I ended up editing their work, adding some lead lines, drums and bass parts inspired by the original piece.
It was quite tough because the performance was sort of a free flow, I used my RME Babyface PRO, Keith McMillen QuNexus controller pad, Victor G451 Gaming Laptop, Cubase 5, Reason 5 and variety of plugins. Hope you enjoy 🙂
I didn’t spend much time on lip syncing for the video, I hope you enjoy and also notice these great artists.
