LD Systems Wireless In-Ear Monitoring Systems Review

Hello there, welcome back to my blog! In this brief article, I would like to present one of the best-selling wireless in-ear systems by the LD Systems brand. For those who have never heard of LD Systems, it’s a pro-audio company under the Adam Hall Group and its headquarters is located at Neu-Anspach, Germany.

LD Systems manufacture a wide variety of pro-audio gear from PA systems, PA speakers, PA mixers, PA accessories, In-Ear monitors, Wireless and Headset microphones, Headphone amps, and Phono preamps to every single related accessory for their well-made products.

But for this review, we will focus on their wireless in-ear systems.

Who Needs Wireless In-Ear Systems?

Even though most people think it’s only for professionals, any musician can benefit from wireless in-ear systems. However, wireless in-ear systems are mostly used by musicians who perform often on stage.

In our homes or studios, hearing what you play or sing is not a big deal. In a simple home studio, it’s very easy to monitor yourself via studio headphones or studio reference monitors (if you record direct).

But on stage, everything becomes so different, dynamic and difficult to manage in terms of hearing yourself.

Even sound-checking in an empty venue will not make sure you have the same self-monitoring quality when the venue is full of people. Many musicians have even reported that they sometimes hear some pitches off and this leads them to perform badly.

With the increased volumes in live music environments, it is almost a gamble not to use in-ear monitoring systems.

However, if you have a pair of wireless in-ear monitors, you can always hear what you perform on your instrument or with your voice regardless of the ever-changing stage dynamics.

Having wireless in-ear monitors also makes sure you have total freedom of moving around and will never have to worry about headphones cables coming your way!

In this article, I would like to feature three of the best-selling wireless systems around. At first glance, the technical specs of these systems will be difficult to understand.
