Jackson JS32 Dinky Review Built For Shred!

Jackson JS32 Dinky offers you every aspect of a shred machine at a very affordable price. Read and watch my Jackson JS32 Dinky review here!

Hello there, back again with another guitar review for you. This time, we will be looking at another Dinky model, the Jackson JS32!

The video that I will be sharing was played with a Jackson JS32 Dinky Arch Top Bright Blue electric guitar. If you are into hard rock, metal, and loads of lead playing and you also need a Floyd Rose-equipped guitar, this is your best bet!

For the price range, I think it beats many of its competitor models from other well-known manufacturers. Fortunately, Jackson company has been manufacturing this guitar with more colour options recently, so it’s guaranteed you will keep enjoying the 80s vibe with this guitar.

The Jackson JS32 review (no talking) video below was recorded with a Marshall JVM205C valve amp + Shure SM57 microphone, all controls are 12 o’clock all the time!

This is one of the best-performing videos on YouTube and people were quite happy with what they heard. Please check it out and decide for yourself!

As you will discover, there are many varieties of the same base model, such as archtop ones, flat tops, hardtail ones, quilted top ones and maple fretboard ones…The model and specs go around the base model of Jackson JS32 Dinky. When I checked with Jackson’s website, I understand that now they are using a poplar body exclusively. However, you might see a different set of specs on different websites. So don’t worry about it too much 🙂

Please have a look at the next, short video of a Jackson JS32TQ Dinky Arch Top electric guitar below. It features a quilted maple top (I believe it’s just a veneer) and a hardtail bridge.

As you might already know (probably not), I used to be working for an online musical instruments retailer. Before I had started working for them, I barely touched 5 or 6 different guitars in my entire life.

But after I started working there, believe me, I had played over 300 electric guitars and I’m not talking about 5 minutes of playing.

I literally sat down and recorded over 300 electric guitar videos, each at least consisting of one hour of playing. So if I didn’t like the guitar fully, I would tell you this very openly. Or if I didn’t like it and never consider buying one for my own use, I would tell this very openly as I’m not affiliated with any brands!

This guitar is one of the best choices if you are to start playing the guitar or want to step up to better guitar from your first instrument. As you see in the video, I used the tremolo bar a lot of times but it was so stable during the video.

Also, please try to hear how high output those pickups have! Even with the same, “all knobs are at 12 o’clock” settings, it pushes the amp more and more.

Unfortunately, the bright blue option is not so easy to find, but there is a left-handed one in Thomann!

Please click the related links and go to Thomann’s website and you can actually order it from Thomann from any location in the world!

Please see below the tech specs of the series and I will be giving you some more information related to the specs.

For all of the guitars that belong to the JS32 Dinky series, use poplar wood for the body. However, according to Jackson’s official website, they use mahogany wood in the natural oil version. It’s sad because most online retailers even do not double-check this information and just leave it as misleading information. But this website’s aim is to bring the tiniest details before you because I am just like you, a picky guitar and gear freak 😉

One last piece of good news! Jackson company has also introduced 7 and 8 strings versions of Dinky models for low-end maniacs! To be honest, I have never touched these guitars in my life, so I’d better shut up, but I can say they carry the same main properties in terms of materials and the combination of them are identical.

Only the scale lengths differ which is very usual for extended-range guitars. Please have a look at the options below as well.

Not for my taste, but you should definitely check these out too! Thanks for visiting my blog and supporting me so far! I will hopefully see you in the next review here!
